Annie Amaru

Preschool Lead Teacher

With 20 years of experience in early childhood education, Annie is dedicated to promoting quality education in her role as Lead Teacher. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology, providing her with a strong foundation to support and nurture young minds. Her extensive background as an Early Childhood Program Specialist and Director of a Learning Program underscores her commitment to fostering children's development. 

Annie places a high value on learning and play, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with a calm and understanding demeanor. She is passionate about growing and learning alongside others who share her dedication to education, continuously fostering an engaging and supportive environment for children. 

Outside of her professional life, Annie is a devoted mother and wife, bringing the same level of care and dedication to her family as she does to her students.

Jill John

Toddler Lead Teacher

Jill brings over 20 years of experience supporting children and families in the Early Childhood field. She holds a Master's degree in Child Development from the Eliot-Pearson Department at Tufts University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Brandeis University. She has had the opportunity to work with young children in a variety of settings including Early Intervention, childcare centers, schools for children with learning differences, and nannying children in their home. She has 15 years of experience in Early Intervention and has also worked at outstanding early childhood programs, including the Eliot-Pearson Children's School and the Lemberg Children's Center.

Jill’s passion is meeting each child and family where they are and helping them to learn and grow. She loves celebrating each small step as the big step that it is for that child. Jill values the importance of play and social-emotional development in the Early Childhood years. She strives to help each child to see their own unique strengths and to grow in all areas of development, through play and peer interactions. Jill enjoys learning along with the children as they dive into a curriculum topic. She also values working and learning alongside others who share her dedication to ongoing personal growth and education, as well as fostering the growth and development of the children.

Yukiko Hudgins

Curriculum Coach

& Lead Teacher

Yukiko brings over 19 years of valuable experience in nurturing young children. Despite holding director certification, she remains deeply dedicated to her professional growth, continuously enrolling in a diverse range of courses to explore various educational philosophies and integrate them into her daily interactions with young learners. Yukiko is a teacher who cares about children. Her calm and positive nature brings the school inclusive and inviting atmosphere. She exhibits a keen ability to observe and understand children, effectively following their lead and fostering meaningful interactions. She will guide children to write their own story in their life. Additionally, Yukiko loves to play musical instruments, like piano, to introduce children to the enchanting world of music.

Mengqi Wu

Preschool Teacher

Mengqi is a teacher with a warm and patient approach to guiding young children. She has successfully completed the ParaPro program, equipping her with the skills to support early learners' academic and social development. Before moving to the United States, Mengqi worked as a middle school teacher in China, which provided her with valuable teaching experience and a deep understanding of how children grow and learn. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching to further enhance her expertise in early childhood education.

Mengqi believes that every child is unique and thrives with personalized support and encouragement. She integrates effective teaching methods from both Chinese and American educational systems, fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning. Her calm and attentive nature allows her to respond to each child's needs, helping them develop foundational skills while feeling valued and understood.

Gvantsa Jabauri

Preschool  Assistant Teacher

Gvantsa Jabauri is a caring and dedicated educator with over 12 years of experience supporting children's learning and development. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language Teaching. Throughout her career, she has worked with learners of various ages, developing strong skills in communication, classroom management, and individualized instruction.

Gvantsa believes that the early years are the foundation for a child's future success. She is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children feel valued, confident, and excited to learn. Her classroom approach encourages exploration, creativity, independence, and social-emotional growth through hands-on activities, play-based learning, storytelling, music, and interactive experiences.

Known for her patience, warmth, and positive attitude, Gvantsa strives to build meaningful relationships with children and their families. She recognizes that every child is unique and works to support each child's individual strengths, interests, and developmental needs.

With a multicultural background and fluency in English and Georgian, Gvantsa values diversity and inclusion and is committed to fostering a welcoming environment where all children feel respected and supported. Her goal is to inspire a lifelong love of learning while helping children develop the confidence, skills, and curiosity they need to thrive both in school and in life.

Meghan Skinner

Floating Teacher

Meghan is a certified teacher with over 26 years of experience in early childhood education, working with children from infancy through school age. She is a dedicated educator who brings a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for nurturing young minds.

She is committed to creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment where each child can thrive as an individual. Meghan believes in fostering a love of learning through play-based activities, encouraging creativity, and promoting social-emotional development.

Meghan is excited to join the Wisdom Tree team, build strong relationships with families, and form meaningful connections with the children.

Jinchong Liu

Director

Jinchong, known by her friends as Chong, has a deep passion for early childhood education and has held the dream of opening a children's school for a long time. In order to pursue her dream, she obtained a Master's degree in Child Study and Human Development from the Eliot Pearson Department at Tufts University, and another Master of Business Administration degree from Babson College. Fortunately, she had the valuable experience of receiving training and working as a counselor and fellow at the world-renowned Eliot Pearson Lab Children's School at Tufts University. There, she had the opportunity to meet excellent experts in Child Development and was fortunate to get to know the consultants for Wisdom Tree Children's Center. They have provided her with a lot of advice and guided her in pursuing her dream. She also worked, volunteered, or visited other exceptional childcare programs such as the Temple Beth Shalom Children's Center and childcare program on Harvard campus, immersing herself in diverse educational environments.

Kerri Modry-Mandell

Consultant

Dr. Kerri Modry-Mandell is a faculty member in the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study and Human Development at Tufts University, located in Medford, Massachusetts. Her extensive expertise lies in the fields of Pediatric Psychology and Family Studies and Human Development. Dr. Modry-Mandell's teaching portfolio encompasses a wide range of both graduate and undergraduate courses, including but not limited to:

  • Designing Educational and Therapeutic Environments

  • Pediatric Psychology

  • Child Health Seminar and Fieldwork

  • Developmental Psychopathology and Adaptation

We anticipate collaborating with Dr. Modry-Mandell to organize enlightening workshops designed to engage with parents/ caregivers. These workshops will serve as a platform for addressing parents’/ caregivers’ queries and enhancing parenting skills. Additionally, Dr. Modry-Mandell will contribute her expertise by providing professional development and training opportunities for our team of educators.

Lynne May Lim

Consultant

Lynne May Lim is M.A.T., early childhood education consultant/trainer. With over 30 years of experience in early childhood education as classroom teacher and administrator, Lynne May trains, coaches, and mentors experienced and novice educators in the areas of curriculum development, emergent and integrated approach to teaching and learning, science and technology/engineering for young children, and anti-bias/anti-racist education. Currently, she is a member of the administrative team at the Eliot-Pearson Children's School @ Tufts University.
